i recently bought i pipe and it came with a cap but idk why it came wth a cap that i can screw on

? can anyone help.

It could be for cleanliness purposes (so it doesn't spill in your pocket/bag)...

It could also be for snuffing out the cherry (to conserve weed), but if it screws on I'm not sure that would be what it was for...

All of my metal pipes came with caps.. they just screw on, they have a hole on the top.
you can either take the cap off to smoke the bowl.. or pack the bowl, replace the cap, and fire the flame down the hole. It surprisingly burns evenly if you do it right. It's also good if you need to take the pipe with you somewhere.. it keeps the weed in the bowl so you can freely put it in your pocket without losing any weed.

They are easy to lose. Which sucks, but luckily I have one that I haven't lost yet and it fits both of my metal pipes.

Not really. If you hold the flame an inch or so above the hole, you may be able to "vaporize" somewhat. Almost like a Vaporstar.

o but thats why i have a vaporizer, but i mainly use the pipe with the cap so i dont stink up my room so much.

Smoking will stink up the room more than vaporizing. What kind of vape do you own?

well i hit my pipe and i have a fan with three drier sheets on the back and i turn it to medium and blow the smoke through it. but with the cap i can put my thumb on the whole in the cap to stop the smoke. and i have a vaporizer vp-100 its pretty shitty ut cant beat the price of 40$ on ebay. here i will give you a link if you want.

Well, I was just asking because a lot of cheap vaporizers don't actually vaporize too well.. Can you taste the vapor as opposed to the smoke or does it taste the same? We're going off-topic, but your vape shouldn't smell more than your pipe.

o ya i know it works better than i thought but ya when i vape i dont worry about the smell, but i have to wait for it to heat up.
