So last night at my buddies house i broke his pipe. I went to set it down on the table and wasnt paying attention too much, set it on the edge of the table and it fell and shattered. It was a decent sized pipe that cost him like 45$. Should i just offer to give him my bubbler and when i come up with my money i just buy myself a cheaper pipe? im thinking this would save me some money and my bubbler cost about that much anyway. im also looking at getting a new pipe again anyway because i love getting new glass, but its my bubbler you know? any help?

Let him use your Bubbler until you can get him a new pipe/money.. Just ask him if he'd want the $45(so he can pick out his own).

thats kind of what i wanted to do but at the same time i love picking out new glass and i figure i can get a decent dry pipe for 30 and just save some money by letting him keep that... i dont know yet though, its a tough decision

What could be more righteous than you offering to go with him so he can pick out a new pipe, giving him the benefit of your heightened aesthetics and then the two of you breaking it in for the first time,

that is a great idea but i dont know how long it will be before i get the 45$ or whatever to get him a decent new pipe.

combine all the ideas:

let him use your bubbler till you get money, then take him out and both decide on what is the best for the price; then toke it up with him out of the piece



personally, I couldn't pick a pipe over something that bubbles, not even with how nice my pipe is.

Since he's your friend you can still use your own bubbler if you give it to him whenever you guys get blazed.
So I say give him your bubbler and then get you a new glass pipe.
Oh well, just follow your instincts!

thanks guys. i will probably just buy a new pipe tomorrow. first was my birthday, second will be fourth of july, maybe if i keep breaking shit i will buy a new pipe every holiday... maybe i will buy a new pipe every holiday anyway. I am going to Hampton Beach tomorrow (new hampshire), and i guess they have a decent headshop, so i will see if i can find something i like

First of all, ask yourself if you like the pipe. I personally wold just give him money. Knowing me I'd have a lot of good memories on that bubbler and wouldnt want to get rid of it.

But, maybe it was just an impulse buy and you want an excuse to get a new one anyways? Or you could sell it to someone for like 55$ (extra 10 for you) and have a start on a new one?
