My friend just got back from vacation and he introduced me to what his cousin calls "bullets". Its like a thimble sized bowl with a filter. Your supposed to hold it with roach clips and put your head back to light it. I tried it and i don't recomend it. I burned the hell out of my lips. I told my mom that the blisters were from a hot french fry. She bought it so its cool. But seriously... its a bad method of smoking

Well the 'bullet' you are describing for weed seems just like a bullet used for another off topic drug that isnt even smoked.

You put stuff in the thimble thing then turn it and a powdered substances comes out the bottom. Maybe your friends just got confused and thought it was supposed to be for weed.

I hope i didnt break a rule there.

I agree, it could be for many offtopics, both legal and illegal... That's the only thing I've heard a bullet used for... Snorting things.

But there were these metal looking bullets (I say that vaguely), with rubber on the mouthpiece so you won't burn yourself when you're taking a hit. They aren't that bad, they definitely don't burn your lips...

They put stems on pipes so you won't burn your lips. I don't see the point in what is, essentially, a stemless pipe.

i don't see how slowride's comment is offtopic since he's informing the guy that he might be using an incorrect method that could be dangerous seeing as he burned his lips. anyway, i agree that it's probably not worth it, and shouldn't be done since most smoking devices i know of have the heat a good distace from your mouth

I used to have a bullet pipe, but it had a piece of rubber on the end for your lips to touch.

It was still a shitty pipe though. The metal got superhot and all of us got burned at one point or another (when you get stoned and pass a blazing hot piece of metal between you, it's gonna happen). It was a really harsh-hitting pipe and the metal made the weed taste bad.

The only positive thing about it was that it made you cough every time you hit it, which means you got really high, but at the cost of your tender lungs.

Bullet pipes = boo, sir. Boo.
