I've smoked my pipes backwards too lol. Just put your hand over the bowl so you don't have to put your lips on it and don't suck too hard because it feels like it burns your hand.

I'm doing that right now. Accept I'm scraping it out of my steamroller! I have a ton of resin build up, I let it get that way for times like these.

I'm out and the possibility of not being able to get any for about 3 more days is very real...

It certainly doesn't taste as good, but it gets the job done! I'm three bowls deep and pretty stoned. The only bad part that I've noticed from the few times I've done it, is that after awhile of continuous smoking (such as a day off when you hit it a few times throughout the day) that I get a headache...

Other than that. It's a good last resort...

I do that a lot. When I'm trying to quit for a job or something, I have a ritual of smoking till I run out, then smashing the piece I was using (to ensure I can't smoke anymore after this last time), scrape it and then smoke the resin out of something homemade and nasty.

I know it's bad to break the pieces but if it works, it works.

When you say smoke through the choke, do you mean light the choke, or put your mouth on the hole. I'm confused....

I smoke resin as often as it builds up. A high from smoking resin for me is always a more calming and deeper high. The taste is the only downside, which is quite bad. Yes I have smoked through the carb and it always gains me a few extra hits. I found that when I have a glass pipe it's easier to run a lighter under it to heat up until the resin smoke comes flowing out. While it is doing this I just inhale through the pipe. One of the easiest ways to smoke it although you need a lot of resin built up to do it. I haven't tried it yet but I'd like to mix a little bit of resin with a joint and see if makes the high stronger.

I heard resin was bad for you, but then again what the fuck isn't?
