the bowl of my glass pipe is completely covered in a thick layer of resin. no matter how much water i rinse my bowl out with the resin doesnt go anywhere and q-tips cant reach the dirty part. i have 2 questions:

A. does a bowl ever become too unhealthy to smoke out of?

B. how do i thoroughly clean my bowl and make it shiny and new looking again am i supposed to use dish soap or something?

Isopropyl lalcohol.

Take a ziplock baggie and place your pipe inside. Put about a half a cup or more of salt in and cover in 90% isopropyl alcohol. Place inside another plastic bag. Shake the hell out of it for a long time. Rinse and repeat.

i get 420 cleaner from my local shop. Works like a champ, even though i know its just over priced sea salt and rubbing alcohol (or something like that).
Pipes, etc clean easy; esp if you use a ziploc. Before i used 420cleaner i used to just boil my pipes once or twice a year...or whenever i cant tell what color it used to be.
