My Chunky Glass Pipes Ordering Experience

I've recently seen a lot of controversy about Chunky Glass Pipes, people saying they didn't get their orders shipped, or were shipped the wrong stuff, etc. Unfortunately, I read all of this shortly after ordering a pipe of my own off of their website! Needless to say, I was a little worried. So, I've decided to make a thread about my ordering experience.

I made my order over the 4th of July weekend, on the "Gold Brick" pipe. I included a picture of the pipe below. The website's description reads:

Availability: Usually ships the next business day.

"Now this is a chunk of glass. 5 inch squared pipe fumed with a ton of 24k gold and lines of silver fumed clear rod." (link)

They didn't end up shipping the pipe on the next business day, but it just shipped this afternoon, which is perfectly fine. The pipe was processed at the Kent, WA facility at 7:30 pm.

I'll be updating this post when I receive my pipe with pics.

Sweet, I ordered a Critter steamroller from there on Monday. As soon as I get that package I'll tell you all how it is.

So I recieved my order in the mail over the weekend (sorry I wasn't faster with the pics).

The pipe works great, the "brick" shape gives it a huge volume, which means great hits. It's not quite as well fumed as the one in the picture, but it certainly looks nice after a few smokes. I'm working on getting this thing fully color changed in the coming weeks, and I'll post pics once that happens.

For $30 shipped, I'm quite happy.

dang it, looks like im the only one that got boned off that site haha. i guess i'd give them another try now that ive seen 5 or 6 positive replies...

Why would you give money to a business that has previously ripped you off, when there are so many other legit options that nobody has had issues with yet? I just don't understand the allure of using a site you've previously had issues with, when theres a million places selling similiar items at similiar prices that don't have a reputation of ripping people off. I have a "one strike your out" policy with online vendors. Theres simply so many of them, if one of them is in the least bit shady, I can choose to never use them again, nad get what I need elsewhere.

Good to hear the whole process went smooth. But I still wouldn't buy from them considering all the stuff I've read about the company, just not worth to risk/chance it.

yeah i suppose...its just that they have some semi-nice stuff for reasonable prices ya know? i know everyonedoesit has better stuff but stuff thats in my price range is usually put out by the shipping costs. ive thought about grasscity but nothing there really wow's me lol.

I've had good luck with rollies.com the two times I've ordered from them. The shipping takes a bit, but at least you get what you ordered EVERY time.... The spoon and bong I bought thtere 4 years ago are still serving me well!!!

Good I'm glad rollies treated you well, I ordered something from them about a 2 and a half weeks ago.. still haven't got it and they haven't returned any of my emails so i thought it was just a bullshit site, but your post just gave me a little hope lol thanks
