I saw these awesome things in my headshop a few weeks ago. Totally insane with prices 150-500$.
They were interchangable pipes. Glass pipes. There were about 4 varying in size bowls, multiple chambers, bubbler sections, straight or sherlock chambers.
They looked like so much fun too.
There were little rubber things where the sections went together for airtightness.
They were very nice glass pieces too.
Anyone else seen these things? Have a link?

at a local headshop theres these college kids who seem like every other week they go in there and get one or two add-on bowls for a bong lol

i must say, theyre pretty nice, and its not a bad way to get some new excitement out of an old peice

No.. these are like a set of a bunch of pieces.
I think what you're talking about is the stems for glass bowls, which can be pretty damn nice.
