Dont mix both up
food Calories (with capital C) are diferent from the physics calories
1 food calorie is 1000 physics calories, thats what my book saz...
and one calorie is enough energy to heat 1cm³ (1ml) by 1C°

there's no way you burn that many calories flickin a lighter
although maybe in the caughing fit you have if you have the flame too hot and you burn the back of your throat...

I belive the self lighting pipe is called a "tilt pipe" and involves a sliding bowl that touches the red glowing implement on the other side when you tilt it down. Its like an ez to use vaporizer.

I'm sure you use one calorie or energy (the energy needed to heat 1ml of water by 1 degree C) to flick a lighter, but definately not a kilocalorie (the "popular" type of calorie)

Yeah. I've heard of tilt pipes. Supposedly, they vaporize the THC instead of just burning the weed. It's supposed to be more efficient. I don't know if there's any truth to this, I just read it somewhere.
