this really sucks.. those pipes are meant for tobacco.. and yet theyre getting all mad cuz some people use them for weed. even if they get shut down, ppl will still smoke anyway cuz most of stoners know how to make their own pieces or already own some. most of the headshops around here are really responsible, one of my fave would tell u to get out if u even ask for "marijuana smoking products," they're professional about their job and sell them as tobacco pipes. this is just bunch of bullsh!t anyway. a bong doesnt even hurt anybody, unless you threw it at somebody...

or if you drink the bong water, i was at a party once and i saw a guy take a shot of month old bong water for 100 bucks, it was really gross, the guy puked all night

Jesus, that's some fast cash. I would do it for 20 bucks. And I don't even need the money.

How could you puke all night from that drinking that small amount of bong water? The guy was probably wasted and that's why he was puking.

heard about that on the radio yesterday... so how far do you think they'll go? I've smoked pot out of a pepsi can once, and i made a bong out of a soda bottle and an m&m's mini tube once... are they gonna make soda illegal now??? Ohh and my friends love smoking out of apples sometimes.. are they gonna make apples illegal too???! I can't wait til I turn on the tv and see "Hey, You buy fruit and soda, You're supporting terrorism!!!" fools.

Bong shops seem to be fine here, in fact my favourite one operates one shop down from a police station, and another is across the road.

Internet censorship is possible... South Australia has the stupidest/only internet censorship laws I've ever seen in my life. They came into effect 2002 sometime, and have been completely ignored by everyone.

sorry if it's commercial linking, I don't think it is though. Read through some of it and watch out for similar things... although I think even the USA has more sense when it comes to laws like these.

Internet censorship can almost always be beaten by simply using an anon proxy outside the country. But they can try if they like...after all, it's not their money they're spending. It is troubling to me that they are screwing with pipe makers and vendors.

All I know is the place I got my pipe from (that is now gone) just has a single link to an MP3 right now. Dunno if they're trying to avoid heat or if they were ordered to stop operations.
