i have a glass spoon, i got it on my b-day and its about 6 months old now, i keep the bowl head clean by wiping out the bowl head wit a paper towel so resin doesnt build up in it
im wondering what the life expectancy is on these things
i think mine might be tempered, its pretty tough,
also, just from the heat of a lighter does that weaken the glass?? is there ne things by smoking means that weakens the glass??

i just want to be burried with my bowl, its like my pet, im only 16 and i want it to out live me

youre more likely to step on it while your high add break it that way than break it by smoking out of it. and between now and the time you die, it probably will get dropped and broken, get stolen, or get confiscated by cops. also, if yu dont want the rezin to build up in the bowl, thc is alcohol is alcohol soluable, so get a cotton ball with some rubbing alcohol on it and wipe out the rezin with that. itll clean it out good.

the inside of the bowl head looks new, there aint a trace of resin in it, but inside the pipe there is madd resin and i like it all the preety colors, trippy when ur high to look at, thanks for the alcohol tip imma try that next time i want to see all the colors again

glass pipes are cool but don't tap the bowl on an ashtray, especially when it is hot. or is that one for the duh file? pipes will come and pipes will go. i sincerely hope that you are not buried with that particular one.....glass pipes do not have that long of a live expectancy when used frequently and amongst friends. **** happens. i wish i still had all my pipes, but many have been lost, given away, stolen, stashed and forgotten, thrown when cops showed up and never found, etc. so live long and prosper, and always expect to outlive your favorite pipe, bong or bowl.

i get stoned late at night and post here and the next day when i read this i am like.....damn i am silly. forgive me.

i have never tapped the bowl on the ashtray, i allways tap it out in the palm of my hand, if u tap it on the ashtray, u deserve to have your shyt broken

yeah i also heard that rubbing alchohal cleans out the resin, or they have cleaning kits online

the cool way is to tap out the ash by hitting it on you lighter

I tap mine with my lighter. I learned my lesson when I broke my steamroller... hot glass is brittle. I bought a really stout pipe with really thick glass.. hoping to have it for a long time.

I usually just tap my bowl on the wooden ashtray I use, and if there's anything that really is sticky I just unfold a paper clip and clear it that way. I've broken a ton of bowls, but usually when cleaning them, not tapping them out. Most times they just slip from my hands, or I put too much pressure on a seam. Glass breaks. It's not a big loss, even if the bowl had sentimental value, so long as it had a good life and got you high. It was made to be used, and everything that gets used eventually wears down or breaks.

i have owned a few glass bowls in my carer and ive had 0ne for 4 years so i like em his name is jew i dont know why (but im really stoned right know so just tell me if i am rambaling) but that is its name. but go for rolling blunts with the coniak flavored blunt rapes way easy clean up(none)and a relly good high.
