| My friend and I made this cool wood pipe using the instructions I gave him. It has this wooden shaft made out of dowelling and the bowl is drilled in, then filed and sanded into shape. its so nice, hits really nice and some of the wood kinda burns and gives off a nice smell. Its not getting totally totally burnt, you can't taste the wood burning in your hits but you can smell it slightly. Reallly nice smell and taste to it

| Haha, Mulcahey I had a wooden pipe that my girlfriend bought for me in Aruba, too. But it had a detachable wooden stem, and I had glued it in to keep it permanent. But my friend decided to rip it out and when he did he squeezed to hard and it collapsed. So now i got a wooden bowl with no stem. |

| the wood pipes that I have made were relatively simple, I just drilled a hole through the top for a bowl using a drill bit that looks like this: |/--\ /--\| and then using a regular drill bit to drill through the side and into the bottom of the bowl. That is the basics of it, however there are a few extra things I do to tweak it. Works nicely for me, you could make a nice pipe using the method combined with some sanding, filing and/or carving onto the side of the bowl or shaft. Anyways that is my method. Hey bob, you got any pics of the pipes you make? |
