ok heres a little problem im having, i have 2 nice glass spoon pipes that i used quite regularly up untill recently becuase there is too much resin built up on the inside of the pipe that i can barely get any air through it when i blow full force with nothing in the bowl, it really sucks becuase they both cost me like 25 bucks a peice and i dont want to have to buy another one. so my question is does anyone know of a way to get resin out of a glass pipe without damaging it?

no i completly understood what you were going for and if i wanted to search i would have done it and i did, but i didnt find what i wanted to know so i asked. i dont get why people bother posting a link to the search or telling people to search its just as easy to type it out if you have an answer. but thank you for the links

oh blah i forgot to post i want to be able to extract the resin from the pipe not just get rid of it. i want to be able to use it with shake or in a joint.

iv looked at em and they arent really that detailed at least the ones i can find the only way that seems to be reasonable is boiling it and evaporating the water, if anyone has done this does it make much of a smell or anything becuase i live with my parents at the moment and they wouldnt be too happy walking into a kitchen that reaked of weed.

Err...Put it in some rubbing alcohol to loosen the resin up and scrape it out with a paperclip....Listen to the people, they've been here a little longer.

Edit: If you wanted to save it..just skip the alcohol step and use a paperclip to get it out, then when your done with that you can use alcohol to clean it a little better. You prolly shouldnt let it build up quite that much.

Boil it, I've done that with friends pipes in the past cleans it right away with in 20 mins of boiling then rinse in the sink cool it down then dry it and smoke out of the pipe

boile them, scrape out what you can with a safety pin, paperclip, small screwdriver then take the water you boiled it in and filter it through a coffee filter into a cup and lots of resin will stay on the filter and ur left with brown water, and what you scraped off the bowls. after you boil it 60% of the res will come off the bowl into the water but some will still be therte, just scrape it. after you boil it it comes off real easy.
