I remember seeing an ad in high times for it, and read people on here talking about them, they are life self igniting pipes, I am not even sure how it works but that's all I can describe my knowledge of it is. Oh my god, I think I just remembered it after struggling for a bit, is it called a phedor?

Oh, it turns out it's a vaporizer. I know what vaps are, but I didn't know a phedor was one. All I ever remember was that I thought it was a self igniting pipe, which is my idea. I know for sure it's not out there yet.

It would work similar to the wayhot kniving works, and also, similar to the way a car's cigarette lighter would work.

thats a sick idea man u should definatly invent that... maybe plug it in to charge it or something and then just turn it on and puff away... i think it would do well on the high market.

I dunno if you'd count as this as a self lighting bong, but I think it's pretty cool. It's a bong with a lighter built in, you can light it with one hand.

so funny, my friends and i were talking about this last month.

we wish there was a bubbler that had a ceramic coil in it that you could turn on and keep the weed cherried while u smoke it. also it would remove any taste of lighter fluid.

our other idea was a piece that lights itself when u start to inhale (it can be done, just very hard)

Ive seen one before its hard to describe though, it was a metal bowl not a very good looking one, with a lighting device wrapped around the bowl, and there would be a button where you held the bowl in your hands and then youd press it and a flame would come out near the bowl. It was cool but I saw this a long long long time ago when I first started smoking.
