|  Yeah, just put the flame over the hole and breathe in. you might have to take it off after most of the bowl is cashed, though; sometimes there's some in the side of the bowl that didn't get lit. I really loved my metal pipe (my first one, too) that had a cap. I could take a hit, the bowl would go out in three seconds, and I could throw it right in my pocket for later. But it got confiscated when a friend and I got pulled over; luckily he didn't charge me for it (thank GOD).
