I gave my friend( we are ok friends, dont talk on a consistent basis though) 40 dollars to buy me a bowl. He went to a smoke shop, bought it, and is going to give it to me next tuesday. He said it costed 35 plus tax and he said if i wanted the 2 dollars left I could have them so i said that he could keep them. I will try to post a pic of it when I receive it, but I was also curious if you think 35 bux was too much for a bowl or maybe he took some money for himself and told me a higher price? I know its hard to say whether or not that happened without a picture, but comparing to what you guys have paid, what do you think?

I was also curious how much any of you guys have ever paid for a bowl and post a pic of it for comparison purposes.

I paid like 25 for my bowl, 45 for my bubbler, and 10 for my dugout.

One stone pipe I got for free, cause I bought an ounce from the guy at the store who sold them, and the other one was 10 bucks.

Too bad I only have the glass spoon now.....

For 40 dollars i could easly get a 2-3 foot bong, or for 15 dollars i could get a mid quality glass pipe. So if your piece isn't really nice, or low quality i'd say you got ripped off.

But why don't you check out some online stores that sell pipes so you can get a good idea of what 40 dollars can get ya.

That seems around the right area for a midgrade bowl.

Blown glass can be expensive, one of the headshops near me has some pipes on sale for over $2500, although you can get a really pretty one for $80-$200, the ones in the $500-$2500 range are so ornate, delicate, and beautiful I would never smoke out of it unless I was rich as hell and could afford to break it.

yeah dude, a lot of headshops are kind of expensive. There are a select few that will sell decent glass bowls for like $25. But generally speaking, cheap thin ones are like $15, middle of the road bowls run like $40, and nice ornate or thick ones will run you at least $60.

I bought my spoon w/ two warts on either side of the bowl, bery thick glas and a big, deep bowl at my local shop for about $40.

It really depends where he got it from.

The first thing you want to look at is the size. 2.5-3 inches and you got ripped off. Your bowl should be 3.5 AT LEAST. Hell, I'd be slightly pissed off if it wasn't 4 inches unless it looked really good or something.

You also want to see a wart or two, and a lot of colors.

Just post the picture when you get it and then we can know for sure
