I recently ordered a few things from art-pipes.com and the site seems pretty sketchy. Basically I ordered these pipes on Thursday and on the site it says fast three-day shipping. I expected the pipes by ~Monday which they confirmed, but later changed the day to Tuesday or Wednesday. The problem is I'm leaving Friday morning and these pipes are COD going to a friend's house. I just think its really disrespectful to lie to a consumer about product delivery information. Maybe it's just me
Here are two e-mails I sent them in which they gave two responses:
Thursday Night:
Hello,
I'd like to cancel my order unless the pipes can get in soon. My
friend told me it could take up to two weeks and I can't wait that
long. I am leaving for New York next Friday and would plan on using
the pipes and water pipes. Please cancel my order.
Thanks,

Dear ****

We shipped your items today morning,you should have on Monday.

If you have any other questions concerning your order please reply to
this e-mail and we will be happy to further assist you.

Sunday Night:
Hello,
I was told my order would be arriving at my house on Monday. I hope
that this is still the case, or if not could I be notified?

We shipped the order on Friday you should get by tuesday or wednesday

So basically, I'm not getting my pipes until Tuesday or Wednesday, which is stupid because they originally told me Monday. Whatever thanks for listening to my rant.

If you just copy/pasted their emails, they're not too literate, are they?

Hope you get your pipes man. I need to get one for myself.. I'm just rolling and using a protopipe bowl head right now.

Incidently, are we aloud to ask for information such as a reliable site that sells pipes etc.. or is that against the rules?

It's against the rules(to advertise) I'm just trying to show how unreliable a site can really be. And yeah, they don't seem too literate. Last night I got a half-ass answer and no explanation. I sent another e-mail which was ignored. Whatever won't be ordering from them again.

I understand your disappointment, but thats actually remarkably FAST. Most online headshops are based outside the US, and it takes WEEKS, not DAYS, to recieve your orders. I've been to the point where I had basically given up on orders before they arrived.

Art-pipes is definitely not as good as it used to be. I'm about to give up on order number six (for a friend, with his money). It just takes longer and longer each time I order and they don't answer my e-mails.

I ordered from there recently for an X-Mas present for my friend, and it got here in 3 days.
