Hi, I know this may be a stupid question, but I just bought my first metal pipe and I dont know how to load the weed into it.. how do i do that? i HAVE ALWAYS MOOCHED OFF MY BUDDIES, SO NOW I THOUGHT I WOULD GET MY OWN PIPE...

Break up your bud, put as much desired in the bowl part.

Then smoke it.

Well, if your bowl has a cap on it, you need to unscrew it so you can get to the bowl. I wont describe what a cap is or what it looks like cuz it should be pretty obvious. If you look at your pipe, and dont think it came with a cap, then odds are it didnt. No big deal.

Break up your weed, keep out the big stems and all the seeds and load it into the bowl. THere isnt really a standard size tht the weed needs to be broken up into, but just as long as its big enough to not get sucked through the hole, but not so big that it wont all burn.

Just dont sweat it, your first couple bowls may not look the most pretty , but within minutes you'll get the hang of it. And loading a bowl wrong wont hurt anything either. Seriously, just go for it.

PS- Dont worry about leaves too much in the beginning. WHen you are relativly new to smoking, you wont have a distinguished taste.

and it's best to use a screen [which is just a piece of gauze metal which you can buy in packs and then you just shape it into your bowl] because it stops you inhaling ash.

Dude, STFU. Dont give the guy a hard time just cuz he's new to smoking.

My first time smoking I had to pack the bowl in front of all my friends. I had no idea what to do. Kind of alot of pressure when everyone else had been smoking for a while. I know what its like.

Also, try to get a small grinder, you can pick one up for $10-$20 bucks at your local headshop. Just makes it a whole lot easier than using scissors or fingers.

And you will collect kief. kief = good
