Ok, now i know threads like these are everywhere and your gonna tell me to search and everything, but i have a glass bowl that i have purchased from a friend who had it completley resignated and it stayed like that for maybe up to a year. I decidied to clean it right away cause it smelled disgusting and i couldnt get a good draw through it when i hit. So i cleaned it as best as i could with a paper clip and got 3/4 of the resin out. But there is one section that i cant reach to with the paper clip, ive tried boiling it, the salt/water shake method and even dish soap. Any other ideas? It looks stupid half clean and i really dont want to have to enjoy my bowl with resin in it. Could i set the whole bowl on fire and let the resin burn, or is that risky?

Well u had the right idea, you just messed up a step.

It's a salt/isop. shake method, not with water. The salt will bind to the resin and the isop. alcohol will remove it. After you shake it, leave the alcohol in there for a little while to eat away at that resin. Then it should rinse out pretty easily

So get a ziploc, fill it with some isop, put some salt in, ur bowl and shake the shit outta it

. THen let sit for a while and rinse. voila

Instead of the salt water mix, try mixing rubbing alcohol and salt and try the shake method with that. Or you could get a pipe cleaning solution from a headshop if youre over 18.

sorry dude, but u really shoulda searched... alcohol will clean it up really nicely, which is what is said in multiple other threads

Just put it in a zip lock back filled with rubbing alcohol and leave it over night. The next day take a few q-tips to it and you're good to go.

ive done rubbing alchohol and salt before but it didnt work all the way. Is rubbing alchohol just the same?

Sometimes it takes some work to chip away at the pieces of resin that won't wash away. Try washing it after smoking a good bowl- the heat might loosen the resin.
