Ive been on the lookout for a completely CLEAR color free pipe for quite some time. The gandalf pipe thread is what sparked this thread. I would love to find a clear pipe thats really long like gandalfs, but after thinking about it, it would be very hard to make a pipe that long strong. I quess I would rather have a smaller pipe for durability. But it has to be thick. I know grasscity sells tons of clear pipes, but just about every review says they are really thin. Thats no good.

Anyone know where to find a thick, clear glass spoon?

Ive tried two local headshops around me and niether of them have anything on the shelf. If I cant find one, ill talk to the better of the two headshops and see if they can hook me up through the glass blower.

I dont own even one pipe right now for safety reasons, but the one exception I would make would be if i found a clear pipe. I would loooove to own one.

I have been known to clean my pipe after every use, so I think it would be cool watching the piep get slightly resonated after each individual toke. ANd you get to see the smoke!!! Idunno, it just seems alot cooler than some colored pipe.



PS- Im a pipe racist!!!! Damn colored pipes!!!! Ban colored pipes hahahah!!

PPS- I know, shitty joke in bad taste, but I couldnt pass up the oportunity of a corny joke!

Man, I can't help you there I just want to know why?

You'll have to be cleaning a lot or you'll end up with a pretty shitty looking piece. Colored pipes are more prevalent for a reason

Yeah, if you don't clean a clear pipe after each sesh is going to look ugly. Color doesn't affect anything besides how it looks. A clear one is going hit the same if it were colored.

at grasscity.com they have a lot of clear glass pipes, but a lot of them look a bit frail. i didn't look that much, so it might be worth checking out

He just said he maintains the bowl very well, so I believe he realizes what resin will do to his bowl. As for where, I dunno, grasscity.com? HAHAhahah just kiddin, cubis apparently didnt pay too much attention to your post. I really dont know what to tell you other than a local headshop. I dont like to buy "mass produced" pipes from websites. The only way to get a dope pipe online is through the actual artist IMO. But with that comes more $$$

I know he preferred a heavy glass pipe but I was just suggesting the others simply because he wanted to get a clear pipe.

clear pips are the shit,you can see the smoke! i had one that was a pure yellow color when it was clean but it was CCG so it was badass once it got resined a little bit.purple waves is the best way i can describe it.

I don't really know where you could get one online, but i'm sure you could find one at a headshop.just look at the cheaper pipes,there should be some the have little or no color.

If you want a good and long glass pipe go into a headshop and ask if they do live glass blowing. 2 shops in my area do that. and just because it's long doesn't mean it has to be thin glass.

-Jake: Colored pipes are more popular cuz most people are lazy hahah!! I usualy clean my pipe after every use anyways, so a clear pipe just seems natural. You can see the smoke!! That, and I think a clear pipe with a tiny bit of resin from just one session looks cool.

-Swabeky- Yea, I know they can make longer pipes thicker, but still, a longer pipe will be more fragile than a short one.

northwestglassart.com has actual glass blowers. perhaps you can ask for a custom? it shouldn't cost too much since it's just clear glass
