I only have one pipe right now, my small spoon baby blue but i want to get another bigger spoon i'm a counselor at camp all summer so i can't smoke but i turn 18 the day i come back so i think i'm goign to head to a reputable head shop we have close by and get blazed and let the hand of the ganja gods guide mine. i'm pretty utilitarian and i don't want to worry about dealing with extra stuff so i was thinking about passing my pipe to a friend. i was wondering if anyone else has just passed on a pipe or been passed down to. talk about it

don't do it..just keep it at your house hidden until you get back.then you will have 2 pipes,one small and one bigger one.

and you never know how things work out pipes break,and it may end up that they don't even have any pipes you want.

While there's merit in keeping an exra piece around, there's also something very karmic-ly cool about passing on an older piece to someone close.

I've never done this, but may have. It's even more special when the piece is older and special and you're passing it on to best friend or relative or someone else close to you.

mt friend passed a pipe down to me last year after he got a new one...now its kinda tradition to do so when we acquire a new one.
