I used to smoke from my own pipes carved from apple wood. I gotta tell ya, the taste was great and if you could whittle good enough you could fancify it with leaves and scroll work.

If I could carve that well, I might like a wooden pipe, but almost all of the wooden pipes I have seen look very bad, except for the old tobacco pipes, which look o.k sometimes.

First pipe i had it wood, It was sweet... It was black, and it was made of some type of really hard wood that didnt burn and give smoke..... and it had all these carvings and such.

Heres a better pic of it, through a digi cam, only down side is its a way smaller pic cause it was mostly for my bong

And dont mind the way the weed is put in, i did that for show.

That apple wood sounds pretty cool ...

It would be cool to make your own wooden pipe ... carvings and all. That would be a cool hobby.

i have made one from a strong wood dont know what it is but it dont burn i think it apple not for sure but carving is very fun and can be very rewarding i think and something else i have a carb in my pipe

i dig mt wooden pipe. its oak i made it my self, it dosnt break, it gets me high, cost $1.35 in parts, wood and bowl, its bad azz, though my 5 bongs show my preffrence
