I've seen all kinda pipes but I have to say I looove my old wooden pipe it still gets me high like no other!

Any wood type fans?

I like em as much as glass but alot alot more than metal. I lost my old pipe and I have several people working on a gandalf type pipe for me. No one can do it right though because of the the dimensions.

We only use glass or ceramic.

I have a wood pipe I made, and it's all I ever use, unless I decide to roll joints or smoke out of someone else's bong or something.

I use a wooden one I made, and I am working on a new one, I like it way better than any metal ones I have used.

You widdle (sp) your own pipes? That sounds pretty cool. Where did you learn how to do that? Do you carve designs or anything into them?

I carved a 10 inch long wooden one, no designs but its pretty freakin good considering I used a semi sharp kitchen knife.

I just started carving a pipe, I'd like to have it done by the end of April, but does anyone have any advise on drilling the hole in the mouth piece. In my head I have the stem curved, but I can't firgure out how to get the hole to go all the way through.

Ya, I wittle, I grew up in the Rockies and also eastern Alberta so I am relativly good with a pocket knife. I havn't put any designs on my pipes but I get cool peices of wood for them. The one I am working on now has a bowl with 3 arms about 4-5cm long coming out the sides, so when you lay it down, it stays upright, and it kind of looks like 3 fingers coming off the end. The arms also serve as a handle for passing.
