Gonna have to go with glass. Although with a metal one you can use a screen to keep weed from pulling through.

I know this thread has been dead for a few days now, but I thought I'd just ask in here without making a whole new thread.

Are there any dangers surrounding smoking out of a metal pipe?
I know there is osme speculation connecting alluminium and alzhimers....

But what about bronze, copper, brass, steel etc?

I looked around on google a bit and found nothing on anything but aluminum. one website said that most of the toxic fumes that are associated with metal come from chemical coverings on plumbing piping, so other than the obvious health risks of smoking i think metal pipes are just about the same as all the others

Im going to have to say glass. I love how it changes colors when you smoke out of it alot, and also how it smokes so smooth. An my pipe has two twisted chambers so i never inhale ash. =D and i hate how metal gets so hot.

I don't discriminate against any type of pipe. I prefer my marble pipe to my glass pipe. I used to have a great glass pipe, but I was heating it up to boil the resin and then set it on cold tile, and it cracked, which in turn broke in my pocket. I am looking forward to friday when my local headshop gets their new pipes for, they said they will have one shaped like a Colt Peacemaker.
