I just started smoking a few days ago after wanting to do it for quite some time. The only reason I hadn't done it yet is because no one had ever asked me. If one of friend's had ever invited me to go get high, I probably would have done it. Well, I moved out a couple weeks ago, and now that I have my own place with nothing to worry about, I asked me friend if he could come over and help me with my first time.

The first time was nice, but I just felt a little light headed and that was all. I liked it, though, so I decided I wanted to get my own pipe. After looking online(I'm a nerd, it's what I do), I saw a lot that I liked, but I wanted to go to a local headshop and see if there was anything I liked. This is what I came back with.

I was hoping to find one that was in red/black/white, but I saw this one and loved it. Red is my favorite color, and I like the clearness of the glass. Is it "customary" to name it? Also, where does "Kush"(sp?) fall in terms of weed? I've only smoked twice and that's what my friend said we smoked both times. He really only said that it's not stress, which he explained is cheap weed.

One last thing, how well should I clean it? My friend said to just shake or blow out as much ash and stuff as I could and it should be fine. Does it look too dirty?

I have a purple and blue pipe, non-transparent, and I like to let it cake and when it gets real stuffed with the icing you get.. not baked... but burnt...

I hold it upside-down and blow into it to remove ash. let everything else sit. you might want to clean the tube, if your friends niggerlip it a lot. Go to your local headshop and pick up some pipe cleaners for under $1.00

You might also want to pick up a pipe screen, so you dont get ash in your mouth if you suck to hard.

I agree with neconide. You should let it cake pretty thick. Depending on the glass, it may change colors if you let the resin build up, and it smokes smoother.
Also, yo can get the resin out when it builds up alot and smoke it, its pretty good too =D

that peice looks like it has a pretty small bowl on it, but it looks really cool.
Yeah you dont want a lot of ash laying around inside of it, i usually just blow it out. But i also suggest letting the resin build up.

From that picture that bowl looks miniscule. I mean, REALLY, REALLY, PACK 8 BOWLS TO GET YOU BARELY HIGH small. It looks really thick, which is good. And... uh... WHY IS THE BOWL SO FREAKING SMALL??

1.) it doesn't look that small to me and
2.) if you actually read the post, he says that he just started smoking so a smaller bowl makes sense.
