My buddy was just telling me about a little one-hitter he has... it's metal and made to look exactly like a cigarette... he said there are glass ones too.

Anyone hear about these? Use one? Know a place to get them? The smoke shop near me didn't have them.

edit: i found some places online that sell various metal ones... but I'd much rather prefer a glass one.

Yeah, I have smoked out of a few 'sneak-a-tokes' (the general term for a concealed / 'stealthy' pipe). Mostly in Highschool, they were convenient because they were small and you could practically smoke in the open if your very discreet. We would walk over to a graveyard across the street and smoke behind trees. Nothing came about it....

As far as getting a glass one, you should just get a chillum. Its very similar to the 'cigarette pipe' except they have a few advantages such as having artistic appeal and the obvious advantage of being glass over metal. I'd go with something metal if you want durability, glass for something unique and eye-catching.

However, I have yet to see a glass cigarette pipe. There are plenty of metal ones that can be found easily enough (check another headshop or just order some online) and they seem to do the trick if you want to continue being discreet.

Well... I'm really looking for discreet over eye-catching, which is why I wish i could find a glass or ceramic one-hitter that looked like a cigarette.

All the glass chilliums i could find are very nice looking...but I dont want mine to be =P. I want a very covert, utilitarian cigarette looking thing =P

I'm also not too fond of the idea of smoking out of an aluminum pipe. Maybe if it was from an actual brand, but these are just random companies it seems... or am I making a mountain out of a mole hill?

I guess I'll look into how safe it is to smoke from aluminum... also (like I started in the medical section), I may just get empty cigarette tubes w/filters and fill them myself.

As nice as the glass ones are, they defeat the purpose I'm going for =P
