I got a tobacco pipe for when I'm smoking pot with more than 4 or 5 people (you can load up a whole bunch in one bowl and only have to light it once).

I didn't set out to do so, but while I was skipping school today, me and a few friends went to this antique mall where they had an entire bucket full of pipes, none of which cost more than $10. I was like this:

Some of them were really beautiful, like some of the obviously hand crafted wooden ones. Then, at the bottom of the bucket, I found the one I ended up purchasing.

Its from the Lake Placid Olympics! It has a beautiful Lake Placid Olympics logo on the side. The pipey part is wood, and the handley part is black plastic that twists off so that you can clean it if it gets clogged. I would post a picture, but I don't have a camera.

Anyway, so my friends were like "Steal it!" because only one was 18 and didn't have her ID. I really didn't want to steal a $4 pipe, though, especially since I had plenty of money.

So, bold as brass but terrified, I bought it. The lady at the checkout was like "Oh, so you want to buy that. Oh. Um, here. four twenty-five."
*looks around nervously*
*Wraps up pipe*
*puts in bag and hands to me*

Which is totally understandable, because she could have gotten in a LOT of trouble, since I was obviously underage and my state has ridiculous paraphernalia laws.

I find it hilarious that both of us were afraid for me to purchase a $4 pipe.

We smoked out of it on our way back to school, and it has the gentlest toke I've ever experienced (and I've smoked out of plenty of pieces).

What could possibly be cooler than a pipe that was made for a world event that took place almost a decade before I was born?
