Alright. So we all know that glass is one of the best things to smoke out of.

But
I'm poor
And cant afford a bong or bubbler or bowl.

So I need you all to put on your thinkin' caps and help me think of how to make something out of glass that is small and easy to hide. Even a one hitter or somethin.

A list of materials would be appreciated.

Your best bet would be to pick up on a glass and tile bit or a diamond tipped bit and find a good vase maybe one of the mums, drill a hole in it, purchase a male and female peace for a measely 11 bucks and you got yourself an amazing new bong.

if you can afford to buy weed you should be able to afford a cheap bowl. I picked up a mini one 2 weeks ago (2 inches long, bowl is huge compared to the body) for $5 and it works fine, I don't use it as often as other pieces but you can def. afford it. Also try a gravity bong, tokinglx posted a double chamber one he made recently, but you could easily make a single chambered one and have it work fine.

Purchasing a bowl is cool but something about having that homemade hand done stuff is just too fun. My first piece was a wooden stick that i drilled a bowl into and a mouth piece, the nature pipe, still got it today hits a little hard but still my favorite.

Well thats the thing, i dont buy my weed, my friend is rich and buys shitloads of it. lol.

Try making an apple pipe when you know you're gonna smoke. Maybe get some papers for the other times since the apple pipe won't be good for more than a day. You could try making a bong out of a gatorade bottle. The problem I see with a bong is that for it to work really well you'll need to buy some supplies that could probably cost more then $5 and in that case you can just get a cheap pipe. For now go with the apple pipes, maybe save some money up and buy a nice chillum.

I can't think of the name, but if you look at this picture
you can get the bit on the end (it has 2 open sides) and melt it into the side of the bottle with some tubing around the inside end that can go to the bottom of the bottle, then cut out part of the center of the cap and you have a bong. The tubing could cost a few dollars since you'll only need about 6", but make sure the diameter is a little bit smaller then the small end of the wrench bit so that it will snag on it. The bit, not sure how you'll find 1 bit, maybe ask your friend to get it from his dad's toolbox unless you can buy em. Then you'll need something for a screen, I read somewhere on the forum that you can twist a spiral out of a paper clip and it'll work fine. That should work, if you wanna wait I'm planning on doing this during this week since I finally finished school and I get paid tomorrow or tonight so I'll let you know if it works out. I'm thinking of getting a 1 liter bottle instead so the hits will be bigger and I can put more water and some ice thru the top.

to add on to my last post, i actually am almost finished. the bong itself is made of a 24oz crystal geyzer bottle with the sport top (the little tip pops up to drink right away). I cut off the sport tip completely so its just a whole in the top, then I took a few straws and melted them together to make a downstem that reaches to the bottom of the bottle, its about the length of 1.5 straws, the top is thicker so it fits into the socket for the bowl. I put a screen that I bought in the top of the socket, and I made a whole near the top to hit from, where I put a hollowed out pen without either end so i can inhale away from the bottle and i'm about to make a carb hole later on. I'm gonna go to walgreens and get some super glue to glue the socket to the top of the water bottle cap so it'll be air tight (won't be near the heat so it'll be fine i think) and also around the pen so that'll be airtight too. I'll try to post up a picture for you when I finish so you can see, and if it works good you can easily make a good bong.

you can get a gatorade, water, coke.. etc bottle, get a small socket (maybe steal one from dads tool box.. best if never used) heat the cap until you can force the socket to where the bigger side is sticking up. you can cut or burn a small hole in the bottom of the bottle. fill the socket up with weed, and fill the bottle up with water and put your finger over the hole so the water doesnt pour out. put the cap on. light the weed and remove your finger from the hole. it makes a perfect waterfall and only takes a couple hits to get you really high. conserves weed too
