Alright. So I bought this nice, glass bottle of water.
It's a 750ml bottle of Gleneagles natural spring water.
Anyway
It's about 16inches tall and I was thinking about making a bong out of it.
I realize that I would need to get one of those diamond plated drill bits.
And what I really want to do with it is make a slider out of it, no carb.
But I'm not too familiar with bongs but I do know that sliders have a male and female piece. Which I can get at a headshop or whatever. But how would I 'install' it. And is the female piece built into the bong? or is it something that is seperate/replaceable?

Ideas? Suggestions?

oh how i like building and making bongs out of glass

what you will need to do first is go down to your head shop and get a female and male bowl piece also ask them for a rubber ring that holds the female piece in the apparatus it self (i dont know what the actual name is but yeah ask them and they should know)
then when purchasing you should know the diameter of the rubber ring and stem and what not, go out and get a drill bit corresponding to the rubber ring and a very small drill bit as well. first drill your initial hole with the small bit then, using that hole, angle the second bit as desired and drill at that angle put your rubber ring in then your female stem and then the bowl piece, and there you have it a new glass bong

and if so desired get a blow torch and widen the mouth of the bottle for comfort and looks
but that sometimes will crack the bottle so yeah up to you

p.s. may i recommend asking for a diffuser female stem they are amazing
