I saw some people posting about wood pipes today so i decided id try to make my first pipe from wood its amazing I LOVE IT!! Every one thinks a ugly piece of log lol but in my eyes its incredible it hits great ill try to get a pic of it up later.Im not that good at making stuff so its pretty poorly made but it works this how big it is The end with the bowl is about 1 1/2 inch O.O The mouth part is 1inch I know huge i need to carve it down more later And its about 3inchs long I carved this thing out of a log Idk if its a regular log or log that was going to be used for firewood but its REALY THICK it was a bitch carving this thing down i was switching from a meat cleaver and a butcher knife then a steak knife for more detailed parts (bowl/Mouth part) SInce i could find a hammer i had to use a crowbar and i had no screws or nails so i got a philips screw driver and pouned it as far as i could get it to go for the mouth part with is a little less than 3 inchs then i pounded the screwdriver down from the top for the bowl to meet the hole for the mouth part Then i used the steak knife in a circular motion to make the bowl this took me about 2 hours but was well worth it. Its nice smoking out of something you made yourself ![]()

I made one with my powertools. Just used the big disk sander to shape it and used the drill press for the mouth and bowl portion. About 5 minutes work lol you should have done it that way. Then I hand sanded it with 1000 grit till it was the smoothest wood I've ever felt! Simply amazing... to bad my girlfriend threw it in a fire and we don't have the tools to make a new one anymore.

Here's my wooden pipe, its my first pipe, and I made it myself. Its about 5 inches long and the bowl is about 2/3 of an inch wide. The bowl is mahogany and the stem is bamboo. I drew some cool stuff on there with a sharpie too. I just got a screen for it, and hit it for the first time today. It hits really nice and smooth, though not as smooth or hard as a bong. I totally agree, its way more rewarding smoking out of something you built yourself.
