I saw Brossy's bong thread, concerning the green/clear bong he made. Looking at it, I thought to myself, "Is that a balloon on the bottom?"

It turned out, no it wasn't. But it did get me thinking, "...Can I make a bong out of a balloon full of water?"

What do you think? Anyone ever done it? I'm definetly trying it, as soon as I can get a few balloons.

Im sure if you make it the correct way, you can use the balloon as a gravity effect to fill a chamber up with smoke. This sounds like a really cool idea, im sure one of these skilled homemade makers can come up with something creative.

Yeah, it looks just like a normal bong, the important part is that the water would induce a sag in the balloon, drawing air into it to create the air-pocket needed for a bong to function as a bong, rather than as a glass of dirty water with a straw in it. So...Yeah. I really wanna try this, seems like a good disposable, portable design. I think the only troublesome part might be the fact that you'd need to account for the elastic band sealing the top off, when you're looking for the output hose.

I think you would face to much trouble holding it without water filling up the air pocket and soaking the bowl.you couldn't put it down or it would fuck up.

Hmm, yeah. Once I can get some balloons, I'll try it out with an empty bowl, see what happens. Thanks for the input.

Get helium grade balloons, because they're looser and you can fill them with a lot of water so it doesn't just push all the water out.

you know this may sound wierd but it would probably work with like a latex un lubed condom...the latex isnt super strong so it will make the water sag a lot, you might just wanna get the stronger ones because the weaker one might break and get water on you.

All very good suggestions, I'll take them into account. Don't have any condoms around that are un-lubed unfortunately. D: Umm...yeah. Feel free to make tests and experiment, let me know how it goes.

Try sloting one of those mouthpiece/bowl combos built into rubber stoppers into the top, it'd prolly work prety well.
