Well today I decided to make a pipe because I lost my bowl. I was in my friends garage and picked up a piece of scrap wood and decided to make one.
It took me about an hour to finish to my likings. If you want to know how I made this, just ask.

Would the wood not have to be treated so it doesn't burn along with the weed, or something?

To 51cK_k1IL_dUd3, you can treat it by torching the bowl, you hold a lighter to the bowl till it turns slightly black, then let it cool off, and repeat a couple times. And Maloneyyy, I'd like to know how you made it (:

Oh man, you need to tell me how to make this.
I've been wanting to make a wooden pipe for so long now, but i've never had the right wood.
I love it, it looks bomb.

What I first did was find a piece of scrap wood that was the right thickness I wanted and length to work with. Once I had the piece I cut it to length with a wood saw. When that was done I put it on a lathe and rounded the block to give it a shape. I first took it down to all one size then rounded the corners to my liking. After that I used a drill press and drilled my bowl. I forget which size bit but I just used one to start the shape. While still on the drill press I also drilled my hole to smoke out of. I just used something that wasn't going to split the wood because of diameter. At this point the pipe was functional but looked rough. I took a dremel and smoothed out everything. Then I made the bowl more rounded and wider. That's basically it. Ill end up making a new one soon that's bigger and with step by step pictures for those who would like that better.

its really pro man koodos, but wooden pipes are really smelly and hard to clean compaired to glass

dude i wanna know how you made it.... and also... is any kind of wood good wood for a pipe?? how to slect/know?

Sweet, I'm currently in the process of making a wood pipe I had to restart cause I used to big of a drill bit and cracked it.
