Last night I decided to make a bong out of household items, heres what I used.

-Pringes can
-hollowed out pen
-5/8ths socket

The only problem is I need to somehow make a screen for the bowl otherwise the socket is just too deep, Any suggestions?

Just take the screen off of the your ipod headphones (like the little metal one where the music comes out of) and put it inside the socket for a screen, those work great for screens.

I never thought of that. That's why I never used my socket for the bowl on a bong. Thanks for that.

it sucks though cause the newer ipod head phones have screens that are a BITCH to dislocate.

why use pringles can? water/soda bottles work alot better

I do this often with a coke bottle and a pen one side of the bottle make a whole just below half way down just big enuf for your pen use some tape to keep the pen up right put a whole on the other side for a carb i usually stay away from the bowl and just roll a j and stick it in the end of my pen but this gives you a good smooth hit i found sam's choice water bottles to work the best a chip can would get soggy.

with a socket piece that size, the screen is not necessary; unless your weed is super ground.
