Just finished using a little pepsi pipe i made, very first one I took a small pepsi bottle without the top, made a little bowl of tin foil with a hole in it in the drinking part, and shoved a pen through the bottle. btw, would smoking this be hazardous bc of the tin foil bowl, note im smoking through the bottle/pen

i didnt really inhale through the foil though. I had a pin-hole in the foil so smoke would go through it into the bottle, then i inhaled through a pen cartridge

But the point is, your heating the foil, which releases the chemicals.

Aluminum foil is FINE. Think about it, people cook with aluminum foil and such all the time, at much higher temperatures than a lighter flame, and the aluminum doesn't put "chemicals" into their food does it? Aluminum doesn't cause Alzheimer's, or any other illness just from smoking with it. Even if you had a flame that was hot enough (I know it's possible), you can't possibly heat the aluminum to that temperature in those 3 seconds or so you have the flame touching the aluminum.
