Problem, smoke not going into pipe.

Hello, I have recently made my own steamroller (kitchen towel roll and bowl) , Only problem is that when i light up , the smoke doesnt go into the pipe, only towards the ceiling. im only smoking a small amount would that matter?

Is it air tight? It sounds like you aren't getting enough suction going on...are you remembering to cover up the end while you hit it?

It sounds like your either not covering up the other end, or its not air-tight... Either of those can be the problem to why the smoke is going up and not into your lungs

Either the hole in the bowl is plugged, you're getting an incredible amount of air leakage around the bowl, or you're not covering the far end of the tube securely.

you still have to inhale to draw the smoke into the chamber.....

Thanks , I've been pretty high since, I had to REALLY Inhale , Because of the air leakage.
Made a new one, And its been history since.
