Tree Pipe?

I know this sounds REALLY weird, but I came up with this when i was stoned

So what you do is drill two holes, and the smoke travels through them. Thoughts?

depends how big the tree is, theoretically this could be done with a very small, common tree only about a foot in diameter.

Well im not trying to bash your idea at all, cause im sure it would work... But your probably going to kill the tree making a pipe out of it. I just wouldnt do it, cause it seems like a waste to kill a tree just for a pipe.

true, especially when pretty much the same concept could be mae using the ground (dirt)
