I am sitting here in my house with nothing to smoke out of. Just bought a fat sack and trying to toke up.....Anyone have any ideas of what kind of bong I could make out of household utensils? Someone please give me some ideas or post links....Thanks...Oh yeah, also I have a screen to use. Can I make anything out of a spray persprent can? Heh, just a thought. Please respond people Thanks a bunch.

If you get some sort of a pop bottle you can use that. Cut a hole in the side of the bottle, and then make a bowl that fits in the hole. I find trombone or trumpet mouthpieces work well as bowls, if you have one. If not, you can make one out of something. Then all you have to do is pack the bowl, light it, and inhale from the part of the bottle that you drink from. Works like a charm. This sort of contraption sent me flying through time and space the first time I got high.

Any sort of sports bottle works good. I was about to advise against the pop can, but then I noticed you did say to use a different bowlpiece. That's alright then, as long as the flame doesn't touch the aluminum.

Use your imagination and be creative. Like I said, sports bottles, gatorade bottles, 2-liter pop bottles, anything like that should work okay. Good luck!

I just got myself an optimo sport, so I'll be saving that for in the morning when I wakeup, there's nothing better. I'll just settle for bowls now....anyone got any ideas for baking the bleezzah? I was thinking honey, there anythiing else I can use?

By far, the wierdest thing I've smoked out of was a contraption a friend and I made in a chemistry lab. We were working late on a gas laws lab involving dry ice, and we decided to try and vaporize some weed using the materials around us. We put a dime bag into an erlenmeyer flask with a second stem coming out of it (I dont know what this is called)(in retrospect, a bad idea...the weed spread out all over the bottom and it was hard to vaporize) We put a ported rubber cork on top, and ran a hose out of the port. We then took a small chunk of dry ice and first put it in a tall, fairly expensive beaker with two stems coming out the sides. This resulted in the glass cracking, and us being out of 30 dollars worth of weed money <images/smilies/frown.gif> Next try, we placed the dry ice on a ring clamp,which prevented contact with the glass. We hammered a rubber stopper on top of the beaker, and ran one hose to the tap water and one the other to a 4-foot long condenser. The hose from the flask with the weed was connected to one end of the condenser (A condenser is a glass tube with two open ends surrounded by a chamber with hose attachments on each end. A supply of cool water is kept constantly running thru the chamber, which cools whatever is going thru the main tube.) We connected about 4 or 5 condensers together. We then sparked the bunsen burner below the erlenmeyer flask and turned on the water to the condensers. After passing over the dry ice, the water was absolutely FREEZING, and the condensers made the smoke WAY below room temp. After about 3 minutes I took a hit by uncovering the second stem on the erlenmeyer flask that served as a carb. I have never been more screwed up in my life. After taking my hit, however, the lid exploded off the beaker with the dry ice in it (we forgot the main point of our lab, and the gas pressure built up to insane levels in the beaker). Fearing someone had heard this EXTREMELY loud noise, we quickly tried to clean up. No one caught us, but my friend never got to experience this absolutely awesome way of partaking in herb. It was all very sci-fi-mad-scientist-50s-nostalgia feeling.

i hate chemistry, i really do. i get good grades in school. a's b's but i had honors chemistry last year with a awesome teacher ( he was a veitnam vet). it was so hard, got a c in the class.

we had to do gas laws...and it sucked!!!!

plus we have blocked classes which means they are 83 mins long!

now that sucks a wang.

I had an absolutely terrible freshman chemistry course, too (the one where we built the uber-bong). Our professor thought we were a bunch of idiots and was basically a review of the stuff I had done in the 10th thru 12th grades. Stick with chemistry, though, and it will all start fitting together. I got a B- in AP Chemistry!

Well I don't know about chemestry, but I made a pretty cool disposable bong out of a McDonald's cup, the one's with the plastic top so your coke-a-cola doesn't spill. You need 2 straws though.

First put a bowl on the tip of a straw (tin foil, brass, wood, whatever's around at the time). Stick that straw through the plastic lid into the cup about a half inch from the bottom. Seal the seam around the straw and lid (scotch tape worked for me). Make another hole in the lid, opposite of the original. Stick the second straw in that hole. Tape the seam around that one too. Add water to just miss the second straw ( about half way) to the cup and your set.
You may need to tape the bowl onto the straw. There were only a few of us hitting on this and the straw did not melt.

I made this bong at work on a very slow night. It worked excellent.

Good in a pinch. All you need is tinfoil and an old paper towel roll. The aluminum foil will release aluminum oxide when it's burned, which is toxic, so you really should use these as little as possible -- or use something else for the bowl.
