ive been rollings joint by hand for about 2 years and i can roll them near perfect every time with any amount of weed, but sometimes the smoke just doesn't compare to a nice marijuana cigarette right out of my little machine it's so easy and works perfectly everytime.
the machines there just in case i get lazy which happens very often. ha

do they sell these machines in stores or do you gotta order one? also, how do i ask for one? do i just go "you got a joint roller i could buy"?

After several (bazillion) years of handrolling i've come to the conclusion that if you can roll a standard J as well as a machine it'll still take you longer, so why not use the damned thing that will do it consistently and quickly, not to mention storing the J for you until you pop the machine open and take it?

I love rolling machines, i have a german one made of metal and nylon that hinges closed. All those cheap Top brand (you know, the plastic snap close) ones suck because they break and the material snags and creases, etc... You give my little girl a gram or two or three and she'll roll you a fatty no problem, no muss, no fuss, why not let the inexperienced roller in the car/room/house roll it and be all happy anyway? you're still special even though you didn't roll it .

that said, most rolling machines only take one length of paper so, if you want a different lenght, as happens to me rather frequently, you handroll anyway.

now for paper discussion: What papers do y'all like the most? I am a big fan of modiano clubs (or any rice paper) but I'm no snob...

my favorites are:

• Modiano Club Square
• Liquid Zoo flavored (strawberry, my god, like kissing a girl wearing lipgloss and getting high at the same time... it's a long paper, too, so you can't machine roll)
• Royal Blunt honey and cognac dipped...if heaven has them i'll be on the next flight. would be #1 if they were a little softer

now i hate to say this but i CANNOT STAND EZ Widers. BLECH.

after edit: nearly forgot! Any of you folks used those cone roller key chains? They're awesome.

I have a good machine too, it dosn't crease up like my old JOB did occasionaly.

I have one of those TOP rollers that u close and they pop out and i think they work great. The only thing i dont like is the lack of variety cause they can only be one size. I guess im just luck i have had such success with it. Oh and to answer flipthugz they usually have them next to the papers and i got mine in a 7-11. I just asked for a "pack and a roller".

rolling by machine sucks it end up looking like a cigarette and the end usually gets clogged up or either you suck weed down your throte i dont think a machine even compares to a quality hand rolled joint you cant roll a spliff,tater,or even a fat ass joint for that matter with a machine

Personally I LOVE rolling! Using a machine would take out part of the fun. I've tried them before and I'm not impressed. Alot of you guys have mentioned runs , but if you roll good you usually won't have this problem. Just practice rolling it pays off in the long run.

Whoa, I didn't think this post would get this many responses.

I use a "Chills" roller and I used to have a "variable" metal roller that could roll a huge hooter, just as fat as any hand rolled one, plus tighter..I never get runs in my smokes because I finely break up the grass, maybe thats what causes runs?
