I used to have a rolling box made by rizla i think, but i got busted with it at a concert last summer and had it taken. Rolling boxes are so much nicer than rolling machines because they are easier to use, roll perfect phat joints, and you can toss some broken up weed in there and toss your papers in it and toss it in your pocket and have it all there ready to roll when you need it.

I always was the lazy type of person, so I have always smoked weed out of makeshift bongs using everything I could find in my house. Most of them have been amazing successes, achieving me praise from friends. But recently, I realized and got spooked by the thought that the aluminum i use to make the bowls on my bongs is actually quite harmful to the lungs, and can, in the long run cause alzheimers. I have switched to j's and bought a wide assortment of papers from Hempire's ( THESE ARE SICK ASS PAPPERS ) to Rizla King Size's and the notorious Bob Marley Rastaman Vibrations. However, amid these years wasted amongst bowls, I have never properly learned how to roll. I always watch my friends but it is a tricky task, and props to everyone that can achieve this hard task. But for all the other tokers, like me who use cigarette rolling machines, smoking is a constant embarassement. Everytime I roll a j in the machine, and i have learned how to use it quite nicely and get consistent joints, which to my surprise have been quite nicely packed and quite phat, opposed to the popular belief. My question is, why is everyone against rolling machines? They give you a consistent, long lasting smoke, and practically all of this in no time. Why is everyone badmouthing rolling machines and people that use them? You have to take in consideration that it also takes some skill to make a nice joint using a roller. Everyone give me your opinions, I wanna see the variation in smokers....

Aside from there being an identical thread 2 posts down, machines take away from the fun.

Its nice to be able to roll up a perfect joint yourself and smoke the **** out DAT *****.

I don't have a box, I have the metal equivelant of one of those cheap sh1t plastic top or bugler ones, only it has a handle to close it and metal joints and plugs for tightness... it's awesome.

I like those rizla rolling boxes, but my favorite are "gold" they are cigarette rolling boxes with a lighter on the side and a case on the flipside!

Rizla rollers! My mom [yes, mom] has one she's used since she started smoking.. it's a good roller too, obviously lasts a lot longer than those cheap plastic ones. I've broken one already, and the second one is starting to screw up... the seam gets all rolled around on the inside, and I'd have to pretty much take it apart and like.. melt the plastic back together or something.. I've tried glues, but they just don't hold. But the Rizla has held through... there's one little corner of the material that started to peel apart, but I fixed that up with a dab of Krazy Glue. It's still going strong :]
But I have to say, a hand rolled joint is something to be proud of. Machine rolled joints aren't so bad though, if you don't want to take ten minutes to make sure everything's perfect.. just throw in the nice, cut up weed, stick a paper in, and roll it up.. and hand rolling takes quite a bit of practice, so it's like.. "Hey, I rolled this with just weed and a paper." It's a good thing to know how to do, in case that machine disappears or gets taken away, so you're not like "Oh darn.. no machine, no joint." I do need to practice though.. my joints are usually pregnant.. makes for some pathetic roaches. o.O
And my opinion on runs.. take out all seeds of course.. and take out ALL stems. Even the tiny ones that you dont think will matter. Cuz they do. Stems right on the inside of the paper burn longer, and make the cherry lob-sided. Air pockets cause runs, so if you break it up reeeeeeaaaal evenly, even the tiny little nugs, you got yourself a good joint that won't run or go lobsided. It might take like a half an hour, but with time, maybe it'll only take a few minutes. And that's my opinion on machine vs. hand.

hey why not get the best of both worlds use the dollar bill method i use it all the time i can roll some tight joints with that plus its easier but youre still using youre hands.

i've done that a few times... works pretty good. and you can roll em as big as you want, too. i've rolled some fatties with a dollar but it can't be a new bill.. new bills suck. its gotta be between new and totally worn and torn..
