rolling machines have been around forever. is there a possible way to make one? becouse i do roll really swell but the thing is a cigaret size would be more descrete than a fatty or something ill draw up some sketches of a model and how to make one. please leave imput

nope, im just crafty. other than guitar i enjoy making things. i could buy one but i think headshops are just a government ploy to take tabs on people who buy things from there. i used one yesterday, it was pretty cool. anyway thanks for the reply, i appreciate it.

Yeah that sounds interesting. I can actually roll a decent joint but Im just lazy and dont have a spare $5 . Post instructions and stuff if you make one.

The simplest ones I've seen consist of a base, two end plates with curved grooves, two rollers whose ends ride in the grooves, and a cloth belt that goes around the rollers.

You should be able to reproduce that with a block of wood for the base, two little pieces of sheet metal for the end plates, wooden dowels with nails in the ends for the rollers, and a scrap of cloth. I suggest you clamp the two end plates together and cut the groove with a Dremel tool so the groove is the same on both pieces. Cut parallel saw kerfs in the base for the end plates. Put some glue in the saw kerfs, assemble the parts, and fit the end plates into the kerfs.


I think that's kind of paranoid, but you don't have to go to a headshop to buy a rolling machine. They're sold wherever cigarette rolling tobacco is sold: drugstores, supermarkets, & tobacconists.

im a paranoid person. but yes i will try to make one. i think instead of cloth ill use rubber. it will grip the paper better. well thanks for all the replys ill keep you updated as to weather it will work or not. =D

Personally, as poorly as the govt looks on the use of marijuana, I seriously doubt they have the time, resources, etc to keep track of every headshop, and the customers who patronize them. If you are that paranoid, order from an foreign country. i have personally made several pipe prchases from Canada, and have never experienced any problems.

most headshops have em. i think www.grasscity.com has them. if not do a google search or just free hand your J's

bro the best roller I've ever used is the Zen roller, its so sick. it doesn't even look like a roller and it makes the tightest joints i've ever seen.
