Got no real papers right now and I really want to roll a dube, so what I found was this paper stuff that sort of feels like zig-zags, it is the paper that comes in shoe-boxes.

Is this stuff safe to smoke and will it get the job done? I figure since the stuff lights up really easily I would put some honey on it to slow donw the burning, but is this paper toxic or anything?

Probably not...

Back in the old country... ...or so Grandpa Budz tells it... to roll a cigarette people would use most anything. The special favorite was the Newspaper -- ironically called PRAVDA (which is Russian for TRUTH)...apparently it was the thinnest paper one could find, and far better than Russian toilet tissue.

I know that in my younger years, the tissue paper wrapping that covered tampons was a substitute used by many folks -- imagine their dismay when it became common for tampons to be wrapped in untearable plastic (so untearable that you could hear women ranting in despair in Lady's Room cubicles all over America... )

But go...splurge...buy some rolling paper...you deserve it.

Thanks for the reply, I thought about those tampon wrapping things also, but there are no tampons in my apartment, me being a guy, lol. Well I am now rolling it with the shoebox-paper material, working pretty well.

edit: I messed up with the shoebox-paper because it was so think and crinckled alot, but I my friend, who is a girl, came over and she didnt have papers also. So I used the tampon with some glue and honey, this thing looks like a champ, I would post pics but I am extremely lazy

Alot of people will use thin paper from a Bible (DO NOT DO THIS! IT WILL OFFEND ME!-- or oyu know, dont tell me) or if you have a dictionary with thin pages you could use those. the ink would be nasty id say-- papers arent too expensive but do what you gotta do.

I was a printer 35 years ago. In those days ink contained a lot of lead, not something you'd want to inhale. They might have changed ink formulations since then.

you can roll with any paper u want, as long as tha paper isnt white, naturally paper is a tan colour they make it white by bleaching it, not something you want in your lungs

I highly recomend using the silver rizla's if you can find them, they are so thin that their almost transperent, despite their thinnes, they still roll fairly well, but their probably not good for starting out rolling, rizla blues are probably a good paper to start with. As far as DIY papers, I've heard that bibles make good papers (sorry if I offened any chirstians out there) also corn husks are supposed to work well. You could also empty out a ciggarette and then pack in your bud.
