| There is a lower limit beyond which you can't roll skinny joints and have them still draw properly. This is because if one particle fills the entire cross section no air can get by it. You can roll skinny joints (popularly called "pinners") that work if the weed is broken up very fine and you don't roll them too tight. An alternative approach is to roll thicker joints and not smoke them all at once. You can always put out a joint and finish smoking it later.

| Oh if you happen to have scissors on hand while you are rolling, you may want to trim off some of the excess paper. No point smoking more than you have to.

| I'll elaborate on Mama's reply because it will probably be very helpful for you... If you put a paper clip on the paper, right next to the weed, when you roll it up, the paper clip is rolled "inside" the joint. When you get it all rolled and sealed, you can then just pull the clip out of the joint, and voila! A small, perfectly shaped air passage to allow the joint to be smoked quite easily, regardless of how tight you rolled it.

| You can buy papers that already have a wire attached to them for use as a roach clip. The wire is also supposed to make rolling easier. The brand with which I'm familiar is "Randy's". |
