Hey If I use foil to make the bowl for the bong, will the foil emit toxic fumes? If it does, what else can I use for a bowl? Any other homemade bong tips would be greatly appreciated.

Some studies have shown a link between alzeihmer's and aluminum fumes. From what I've heard it shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't smoke out of aluminum every day for a few years, but if you want to be extra safe you can find other alternatives.

From the information that the Internation Programme on Chemical Safety tells me, Aluminum Oxide(the chemical that aluminum releases when exposed to heat and causes a chemical reaction with oxygen) is not toxic. The short-term effects from "inhalation of high concentrations of this substance may cause eyes and upper respiratory tract irritation." This is where I got some information:

As you can see, there isn't much known about the long-term effects. I think it wouldn't be a bad substitute, at least until you can get a real one.

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

What could I use for a bowl instead of foil?

go to your local headshop and pick up a stem and bowl. its a lot safer than the tinfoil and will only cost ya a few bucks.

when you're under 18, you can't simply walk into a headshop and buy that stuff. they do card you.

as for an alternative to aluminum, i use a socket. they are sort of heavy but they do the job. try getting a 3/4 inch one or maybe even an inch. then all you need is a screen and something to fasten the socket on with, and you're set.

Carding is when they ask to see your ID. In the US you have to be 18 to enter a headshop.

Yes, headshops do card you. However, in my area there a lot's of markets (where people go and hawk their ****ty second hand goods on sundays) and nearly always there will be a guy selling bongs, stems, pipes, grommets, and any other paraphernalia or accessory you might need. Furthermore, they don't give a sh!t who they sell to, I bought one from there when I was just a lil' tacker.
