Once you've gotten some practice, you should be able to roll machine-like joints by yourself. And it makes it a lot more convenient when you don't have to lug around a joint-roller.

Hand rolling joints is an art form. Plus, all the rolling machines ive seen are all the same... when you roll your own you can make it how you like, long, short, fat, skinny, big roach, tight roach etc... you cant do that with a machine. Thats what I think anyway...

With most joint-rollers, you can make pinners to cigarette-size joints, but ppl who don't roll like them, because it tightens the weed inside the joint when u roll it.

I agree with what you said, though- Once you learn how to roll a joint, it becomes a sorta hobby- and you develope your own style...I roll mine cigarette-style.

but perfect joints arent perfect, like perfectly cut hair isnt good looking, defects and abnormalities make things good, and joint roollers dont give you options, if you have scisors or a bud buster then you can roll a tighter joint to save bud, where with ripping it apart you want it looser, just practice, if not on bud then on some spice you have around the house,

When I started learning to roll I got frustrated after practicing for a whole night. I found an easier way to roll (I do it the normal way now, but this way is good for learning).

1. Glue two papers lengthwise, so that the adhesive is on the top and facing the rolling surface. Get a pencil crayon and simply roll the paper around it; try not to make it too tight though.

2. Grab an empty cigarette pack/old zig-zag pack/gum pack/etc. and cut off a strip. Roll that up to make a filter and put it on one end of the hollow joint.

3. Simply start putting the weed into the other end, using the pencil crayon to pack it down.

4. Twist the end or fold it, and your done.

These joints look just like cigarettes and are a nice smoke. I find they use a minimal amount of paper and are very smooth. The only downside is the bud has to be fairly dry and well ground. Make sure ALL stems are out, because they can tear the paper when packing.

All the joints I have made this way have worked perfectly and look awesome.

i just learned to roll pretty good i attached a pic i drew on how i roll, it works very good with JOB's or normal sized papers
