making a bowl

what are some safe materials around the house that one could use to make a good/safe bowl for a homemade bong. please dont say hardware store or head shop. im only 15 so i couldnt drive to a hardware store and my parents would wanna kno what i would need the supplies for, and there isnt a head shop near where i live. aluminum foil is dangerous, one of my friends said i could make one out of the foil from a soda can, but im not sure how safe that is. any suggestions for supplies just around the house?

See this thread for a list of safe metals to use. You can also check out this thread for some neat ways to make homemade bongs, pipes, and other smoking contraptions. There's also the lightbulb vaporizer thread, but I wouldn't really call it a vaporizer.
