| For those who wish to divulge into the world of vaporizing but are lacking in monetary resources, space, or availability of a proper vaporizer, here is how i made my home made vaporizer. Materials needed: 1. something to serve as a chamber. I use a 125 ml lab baker. it's made of pyrex. something of similar shape made of glass or pyrex could work. it looks like the one on the right: http://dbhs.wvusd.k12.ca.us/webdocs/...sk-both250.JPG they cost like 3 or 4 dollars each google it. 2. Tin foil. just have some handy, you can figure how much exactly you'll need. 3. Torch. I use a culinary torch. it'll run you 30 bucks at crate and barell http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family...6527&viewall=1 also get some extra gas to refill it. the concept of this vaporizer is that the weed is in the base of the beaker, and a cover of some sort keeps the vapor in until you're ready to hit it. take your beaker and set it on the counter, at this point you can either put some bud or for a slightly more long term build theres a point later where you can but it in. ****READ**** a note about packing bud: try to tear up the bud as much as possible. more surface area=more bud vaped which means more for your money. also try and take out any stems 'cos they'll burn and be harsh but won't vaporize. (you can keep stems and steam the THC out of them though so you can save them) if you've already put your bud in then take some tin foil and fold in half twice. then wrap the foil over the top of the beaker to serve as an almost airtight cap. OR take a few sheets of tin foil that are about equal size fold each in half a couple times then wrap each individually around the top of the beaker. poke a hole through them. be careful it's hard to do, keep the hole medium-small. then, cover the whole with one finger regardless of your top, when you have your torch, make sure it's on full gas, if it has a continuous gas lock, set that. Then push the flame to the bottom of the beaker where the bud is, and wave it a bit to get to all parts of the pile. also don't concentrate on one spot for two long, you don't want it to burn. when you start to see white wisps coming from the bud, it's vaporizing. i like to wait a little bit after it starts to wisp and keep the flame going, but you run the risk of burnign here so be careful. then either take off or lift your finger according to which top and then take a toke, cover the top with your hand because there will be leftover vapor. A tip is to leave a hole in your mouth, dont' suck on the cap is what i mean. the will let air rush and push the vape out and into your lungs. that's pretty much it. other ideas for caps are water bottle sport caps. the soft inside lining that's velcroed to the inside of helmets. poke a hole and stick either some kind of piping, tube, or straw down the hole. reply with other ideas to share for a cap |

| Not bad, not bad at all. Quite simple. A Vapor Brothers vape is only about $109 on ebay, so not too pricey, given that it pays for itself over time, but this is one of the better homemade vape ideas I've seen.
