if youve got a fairly cheap mouthpiece, you should definatly scrape all the shiny stuff off.

At the heart, mouthpieces are sortof a brassy color, but mettalic paint is applied (they use some electrical thing) and its dangerous to smoke

oh well, me being the lazy **** of a stoner couldnt be bothered scraping metal off, so ill just stick to my trusty hand pipe for now.. untill i get my first bong in feb...
