okay, i talked to my docter who perscribes my physchiactric medications and has a p.h.d. in like brain chemistry about alzhiemers and what causes it. she says it is mainly hereditary but can occur and has a faster onset in people with a family hisotry with alzhiemers when the brain is not stimulated enought. she says like nuns and people whp are constantly reading and keeping their mind busy who will get alzheimers sometime within their life have a much much later onset is at all than people who don't stimulate their brian enough. i specifically asked her about what smoking aluminum vapor would do. she said there was a report about that in the news that has since been disproven she said that was just a myth. also i figue since we let our brain roam and use it when we are stoned would should be some of the safest people on earth. there. a qualitied doctor with a degree in that stuff. so next time you need a piece dont be so afraid of the good old aluminum bong (can).

What about the rumor of aluminum cans containing a thin inner coating of plastic? I asked this in another thread, and it was closed, strangely WITHOUT any reply whatsoever on the topic of the plastic issue.

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific: smoking out of a aluminum can supposedly ignites the plastic coating and causes seizures. But this is just a rumor I heard, and I'm looking to find a reputable consensus one way or the other.

The initial assumption is incorrect. There is no "plastic coating" on the inside of aluminum cans. Aluminum is non-corrosive and 100% recycleable.

Unless you can find me bottling (canning) information of soft drinks that differs with that general knowledge -- which is definitely possible , I believe that should answer your concerns.

word man. rolling machines are the s***. everytime i roll i use the good ole rolling machine. it's the best 3 bucks i have ever spent. they come out perfect and stiff and burn so slow.... oh i think it needs some more weed tonite

Hmm i asked my ICP teacher today about burning aluminum foil... He said that aluminum oxide vapors are infact produced when you cook in like an aluminum container or in aluminum foil, but very few of those vapors are actually absorbed into your food. He said that most likely they'd all disperse into the atmosphere. Then he said (odd expression/wink/hint) that perhaps heating it with a fairly cool flame for several seconds wouldnt produce substantial if any aluminum oxide vapors.
And isnt a clump of burning pot fairly cool.... i know ive had burning bud in my hand before and i doesnt hurt.

burning aluminum makes ALUMINUM OXIDE, which is noxtious. So does burning copper, but that makes COPPER OXIDE, als noxtious gas. Weed isn't harmless, but make sure your method of smoking is. 26 bucks for a glass pipe is THE best investment you can make.

I had to drive home from Ohio to Texas this Christmas. I hooked up with a friend in between late one night. There were no stores open to buy papers, it was after 2am. So, I had to resort to smoking a pop can. Gross, and it made my throat feel really bad. I felt almost a lump or something after I got high. So, I knew it wasn't smart and only smoked one bowl that way. How harmful is this? Remembering that I only had to do this once. I'm home now smoking my glass pipes and zigzags. Thanks.
