what are some tips for rolling joints. mine always fall apart and don't smoke good?

1)Take bag of pot, dump on table.

2)Separate enough for joint.

3)De-seed and De-stem.

4)Break all nugs into small pieces(almost as fine as tobacco).

5)Take out papers(Zig-Zags get my recommendation).

6)Flatten out the paper and put it on table glue side up.

7)Take pot and put it into the paper.

8)Before rolling the joint up fold a small(1 cm) lip into the paper.*1

9)Push down lip and grip on both ends rolling paper together.

10)Tighten by licking the paper and rolling until glue is in place.

11)Roll ends of joint closing them off.

12)If still somewhat wet hold a lighter a few inches off to dry.

13)Before smoking tear one end off of joint for clear airway.

NOTES:
*1=I do that so that there isn't as much paper to roll up and it makes the joint tighter.

i always had trouble getting it tight
i'd start rolling and the weed would never roll into the paper i could never get it to roll, it's just kinda smush

so i took some advice from leith and instead of rolling i packed...
take the paper, and roll it into a narrow cone, i recomend wrapping around the point of a pen, a decent pen, not a bic or crap, then lick the paper and stick it together so it holds the cone shape...pack the cone full of your ground up bud, but keep the point pinched so the weed doesn't fall out, pack it good and tight you'd be surprised how strong papers are...
this'll make it really fat
now twist off the other end, just twist it, and burn off the tail
it should hold that way while you smoke it
i took the pen i wrapped it in, and pulled the bottom half off and basically used it to hold the joint. like a cigarette holder that villans always use... light the end, smoke away
only problem i had was canoeing, but it didn't seem to affect anything, we still got high.
it'll roll a really fat joint at the end tho... be warned

I have problems making my joints tight too. What i did is use the dollar bill method. what you do is put the weed in the dollar and roll it around till the weed starts to stick to itself and look like ajoint. You stick a paper in and roll the paper around the joint shaped weed. That probably confused the hell out of you, but explaining things when I'm stoned never seems to work out. Anyway, now the only problem I have is making my joints too tight.
