Ok well its been a long day making a tic tac bong, making out, and baby sitting etc.
But while i was cleaning out one of my closets i found my old collapsible music stand... well i noticed that the pieces were long but the perfect circumfrence for a pipe so i went down into the basement and cut it into about a 8 inch long piece. I then filed the rough end nice and smooth. well heres when i can aponmy fist problem, i noticed that it wasnt a completely enclosed tube there was a long slit down the tube, so i figure no biggy, i busted out the handy glue gun and filed that sucker up with a thin coat of glue. I let it dry and checked to make sure none leaked through (which it didn't).

Well now i needed a bowl, and i heard using a wratchet head would work well....so i went to find my set, and of course my dumb ass dad stuck it on the floor...where water leaks in. So my whole 140 piece set was rusty, and i dont want to smoke outta something like that. So i then spent alot of time lookig for a suitable bowl....when i stubbed my toe on my mini-mag lite....low and behold the upper part is perfect, so i went back into the basement, busted out the welder and put the two pieces together.....
My only problem is i dont have any screen and ive heard usig lauminum foil isnt good....so i have yet to try this puppy out

Similiar to a Geographics:

From Hardware store:
1 two ft. tube of white PVC plumbing pipe X 2" diameter
1 2" diameter PVC end cap
Small tube of silicone sealant (or bathtub caulk, etc.)
Round File

From Head Shop:
Glass stem
Narrower glass stem w/ bowl, attatched handle, and rubber
gasket

Borrow:
Drill gun
Hand saw


Saw Tube to desired length.
Drill hole in Front on tube at optimum height for bowl. Use the
round file to finish shaping the hole to the proper angle for the
stem. Seal the End Cap on the bottom of the unit. Seal the
glass stem in the hole. Let dry for 12 hours.
Wash the unit to remove gack. Insert stem w/bowl, add water.
If you don't like the pull-out style, you can drill a hole for your
thumb at a comfortable height on the back side of it.

I wish i was able to explain how one of my old acquaintances made what i would like to call the Super Smoker. The Super Smoker was made out of bright orange 2 foot tall parking cone he got at the hardware store, an old super soaker water gun, some glue, and tape. It was the coolest thing to hit because you got to use the pump that was on the water gun to fill the chamber with smoke and then when you were ready you got to pull the trigger and realease the smoke into your lungs. After a couple of those you were good for the night. Unfortunately somebody stole this masterpiece at a party a couple of years ago. Ah well life goes on

for me there's really nothing like the feeling of creating something out of nothing, especially when it comes from your own noggin.
some of this stuff I wouldn't expect you to have around yo house. so scrounge, steal, buy. All it takes is:

- a little resourcefullness
- ingenuity... some brains might help, too!
- plastic water bottle
- lighter
- glass funnel that your local school science lab might have (bowl)
- flexible plasic tube
- drill or something like it?
- water
- pen tubes that fit tightly together
- wine cork

!!!I don't really expect you to use this but if your curious as to how the master creates, read on!!!

drill a hole through the wine cork a little smaller than the pens circumference and push the bic pen tube in untill it's about 1/2 inch from top. the space between the top of the pen and the top of the cork should be widenned so that the bowl biece can fit snugly. fit the male of the glass funnel into the pen tube and stick the cork into the bottle mouth (not too far in you'll need to pull it out to clear the "chamber"). hold the lighter just far enough that the flame doesn't touch the bottle (the idea is gradually). hold it under the top part of the neck until you see the plastic begin to bubble and a little hole forms (make sure the hole isn't bigger than the circumference of your tube. it takes a little practice so have a few bottles on hand). The plastic is now elastic enough that you should be able to push your tube through, creating a tight seal. Now you are ready to light the weed in your nice bowl and suck the odorific smoke through your tube and into your iron lung. I hope this helps for all you little Michelangelo's out there.

if you don't mind your home faucet spraying just a little less straight you could unscrew the head and remove one screen. I think there are usually two so don't worry. Also your school faucets are ripe for the plucking.. have fun

Speaking of cheap, home-made pipes..

I got my friend whose in woodworking class to take a dowel and drill out a bowl and a pipe for me
Then, I took a pocketknife and carved it so it ..looked totally carved
Then i burnt the outside a bit with a lighter to make it look worn and used, and charred the bowl so it wouldnt burn when i'm smoking
It works great! and even though its wood it doesnt smell much worse than a metal pipe
I'll upload a pic in a bit...
