I made a pipe out of wood,lol.. I found the prfect size piece of wood(round, and just the right height) I drilled It out hollow, and then made a small hole on the side, I then put in the tube of a pen.. I used the screen from a sink focet.. Worked pretty good for a while, but they I just bught a glass piece.

Fatal.

Could somebody definatly clear this up please? Coz I'm only sixteen and still with the parents, everything has to be homemade. I've always pierced holes in aluminium foil to draw the smoke through and some people are saying this isn't safe. Can a definate answer be provided, and if it's negative, an alternative would be appreciated!

heh thats the problem... there is no definative answer. just do a search on aluminum foil. do you think it is unsafe like with a flame? I think Aluminum Foil brand is made by Procter-Gamble, a large co. now most stuff we cook in the oven is atleast 300degrees f, im not sure how hot the open flame on a grill is. do you think they would have it for cooking food in these conditions if it was unsafe?
